How to Get the Guarded by the Light Rune
As of Phase 6, all runes and skill books can be purchased from Rune Brokers in starting zones and major cities for 1 copper a piece. Each of these vendors is simply named “Rune Broker” and can be easily spotted by their purple glow, lurking very close to where new characters enter the game. You can see all of their locations in our guide below.
Original Discovery Method
To get the Guarded by the Light rune, you must be at least level 30 and have Divine Intervention trained. You’ll also need to bring a partner who can resurrect you.
Head to the Ruins of Alterac in the snowy area in Alterac Mountains and look for a skeleton near the south wall (39.6, 60.9). Loot it to get a Dormant Holy Rune.
With this item in your inventory, use Divine Intervention on your partner, then have them resurrect you.
