This guide will cover how to get the Tidal Waves Rune for Shamans in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.
Head to Feralas and find the Old Crate outside a tent south of Camp Mojache (76, 48), yielding an OId Key. This opens an Old Chest that can be found underwater in the lake a little to the east (80, 49). Jump in, swim down, and you can find the chest near a sunken boat. Open it to claim your Rune of Tidal Waves.
Opening the chest will spawn four Simmering Elementals, level 41-42 elementals who are immune to Frost damage. You do not need to defeat them to get the rune.
