A hotfix has gone out today for all Classic Era realms that increases the rate at which Black Lotus respawns. This change also affects Season of Discovery, but those realms already saw a similar increase, so it will likely not be a noticeable difference there. The change will have a more noticeable impact on Classic Era, Anniversary Edition, and Hardcore realms.
Black Lotus remains a rare spawn, so don’t expect to see it just lying around even with the buffed spawn rate. The herb can be found in Burning Steppes, Silithus, Winterspring, and Eastern Plaguelands.
With a hotfix going out to all Classic Era realms today, we’re increasing the rate at which Black Lotus respawns from any appropriate node.
Because this is an increase to respawn rate, it may not be immediately noticeable. However, over the next few hours and days, the aggregate supply of Black Lotus should increase on Classic Era, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms.
While this hotfix also applies to Season of Discovery realms, its impact there should be negligible, as those realms have a separate boost on Black Lotus spawns in place already.
