New Optional Self Found Ruleset Coming to Classic Hardcore

Along with the announcements of Season of Discovery and Cataclysm Classic, we got some updates on Classic Hardcore at BlizzCon today, namely a new optional ruleset for the game.

Self Found has long been a self-imposed rule for hardcore WoW players, and now it will be officially implemented in the game. Players who opt into this ruleset will be unable to trade or use mail or the auction house until they reach the level cap. That means the character will only be able to use items they find themselves or purchase from vendors.

This ruleset will be added to Classic Hardcore in early 2024.
