New Season of Discovery Engineering Questline Lets You Learn Opposite Spec Recipes

A Wowhead user has reported today that there is a new Season of Discovery questline in Phase 3 for Engineers, that will allow players to learn recipes from the Engineering specialization they have not chosen. Gnomish Engineers will now be able to learn Goblin Engineering recipes, and vice versa.

This will be accomplished through the Engineering Exchange Ticket, the reward for completing the new Engineering questline. The final quest in the chain can be completed weekly, earning you a new Engineering Exchange Ticket each time! Here’s what we know about the new Engineering questline so far:

• Questline unlocks after reaching Engineering Level 225 and choosing either Gnomish Engineering or Goblin Engineering
• Gnomish Solutions/Goblin Solutions will be offered by Fizzbizz Coppercoil in Shimmering Flats, Thousand Needles
  • Gnomish Solutions – Bring Fizzbizz x2 Gnomish Harm Prevention Belt
  • Goblin Solutions – Bring Fizzbizz x5 Goblin Land Mine
• Turning in the quest Gnomish/Goblin Solutions lets you accept Require Gnomish/Goblin Problems, a quest asking you to kill Thunderstomp Stegodon in Un’goro Crater to collect a Thunderstomp Stegodon Horn.
• Turning in the quest Require Gnomish/Goblin Problems unlocks Watering Down the Competition, which sends you to Hearthglen in Western Plaguelands to find a Box of Scarlet Dye.
• Finishing the quest Watering Down the Competition and doing “a few more quests” will let you go talk to Maximillian “The Greaser”; you can pick up the quest Hush money from Maximillian — this is the weekly quest that earns you the Engineering Exchange Ticket.
