Over the day players may have noticed that the Ashenvale PvP event has been feeling a bit different, but many couldn’t quite put their fingers on why. Now that we have the patch notes, we can confirm exactly what changed.
Specifically, the Generals that players were swarming and killing within seconds are now entirely immune to damage as long as there are lieutenants still alive. They will also have a whopping 1000% increased damage if all lieutenants are still standing. Just to make extra sure things are a bit more difficult, both the lieutenants and the generals have also gotten a health buff.
This was done to make sure that the PvP event is not just 100 players zerging a boss down within seconds and actually requires them to do something. Hopefully this makes the event as a whole more interesting, but time will tell!

- Grizzby will no longer rob you of your extra quest items.
- Ashenvale PvP
- The lieutenant and general NPCs in the Season of Discovery Ashenvale PvP event now have much higher health.
- Generals are now immune to damage until all of their lieutenants have been defeated.
- While no lieutenants are dead, generals and their nearby allies gain 1000% increased damage.
- The Horde general’s chain lightning will now hit up to 40 targets.
