Season of Discovery Hotfixes: Battle for Ashenvale Progress & Reputation Increase

Blizzard has been making daily hotfixes to Season of Discovery since launch, and today’s round of adjustments revolves exclusively around the Battle for Ashenvale PvP event.

To make up for the longer time between battles, the developers have increased the rate of progress toward the battle by 50%, so there should be less downtime in between. They’ve also increased the reputation you get for killing one of the three enemy lieutenants by double, from 200 to 400. That should help players get reputation with their Warsong Gulch faction a lot faster and unlock their zone-wide mounts as well as some very strong level 25 PvP gear.

With hotfixes that are rolling out, we’re making two significant adjustments.

The Battle for Ashenvale will now progress about 50% faster than previously.
The reputation gain for participating in killing an enemy Keeper of the Grove or Blade Master has been increased to 400 (was 200).

Together, these should reduce as well as compensate for the longer time between battles.
