A few adjustments went out for Season of Discovery today, with hotfixes for a few items as well as some Paladin adjustments and a change to one Rogue rune.
The Main Gauche rune for Rogues has had its threat generation reduced by half. Paladins have seen a change to their Divine Shield, which will no longer reduce their attack speed by 100% and will instead reduce their damage dealt by 50%. There’s also an adjustment to Paladins’ 4-piece DPS set from Temple of Ahn’Qiraj.
Three items have seen changes in the hotfixes: Blessed Qiraji War Axe has been made more appealing as a DPS weapon. Wrath of Cenarius has been changed to activate from three additional Mage spells. Finally, the new Agility version of Signet Ring of the Bronze Dragonflight has had its damage over time effect increased to 3% per piece, and extra attack changed to proc from the same sources as Hand of Justice.
Season of Discovery

- Blessed Qiraji War Axe stamina removed (was 9 stamina) and strength increased to 9 (was 0 strength).
- Signet Ring of the Bronze Dragonflight: Timeworn damage over time effect increased to 3% per piece (was 2%).
- Signet Ring of the Bronze Dragonflight: Timeworn extra attack effect changed to a true extra attack (can proc things), and it can now be activated the same sources that proc Hand of Justice.
- Wrath of Cenarius is now activated by Spellfrost Bolt, Balefire Bolt, and Frozen Orb, as intended.
- Paladin
- Divine Shield will now reduce your damage dealt by 50% while active.
- Divine Shield will no longer reduce your attack speed by 100% while active.
- Temple of Ahn’Qiraj 4-piece damage set bonus updated – Your basic attacks increase the damage of your next Exorcism cast with 20 seconds by 40%, stacking up to 3 times.
- Rogue
- Main Gauche now increases Sinister Strike threat generated by 50% (was 100%).
