WoW Classic Era & Hardcore Hotfixes for July 10: Bugs Squashed & World Buffs Made Easier

WoW Classic Era & Hardcore Hotfixes for July 10: Bugs & World Buffs

To accompany the patch that was applied to WoW Classic Era & Hardcore realms earlier today, Blizzard has implemented a few hotfixes for these realms as well.

Many bugs have been fixed that were caused by Season of Discovery content being mistakenly implemented on Era and Hardcore realms. Hopefully everything should be (mostly) back to normal now.

In addition, the Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer and Warchief’s Blessing world buffs have been made easier to obtain, as they can now be dropped once every minute instead of every six hours. This change is likely meant to put these buffs in line with the new Alliance version of Warchief’s Blessing. Getting your world buffs should be much less of a headache now, between this hotfix and today’s patch.

… and still many problems exist after changes, such as:

  • New guild UI is very laggy while typing message, and even just opening UI causes short freezes.
  • Hardcore realms (maybe also Era realms?) stability been much worse after changes, I’ve seen daily world down errors, these are likely due to new changes, which was not meant to be on Era and Hardcore realms in first place!
