Bountiful Delves Guide – The War Within

The new Delves have excited every player for the start of The War Within, with many barely being able to wait to explore them! Among the normal Delves, there are also unique iterations called Bountiful Delves that can be found throughout Khaz Algar.

Bountiful Delve Quest

Bountiful Delves first require you to be level 80 before accessing them! Once you reach level 80 and meet a specific requirement that is yet unknown at the current moment in the Early Access version of The War Within, you will be able to visit the Delver’s Headquarters in Dornogal and pick up the Bountiful Delves quest.

Restored Coffer Keys

The quest requires you to acquire a Restored Coffer Key and discover a Bountiful Delve in which the key can be used. Restored Coffer Key can be acquired in two main ways: they can either be created directly by participating in World Quests and Open World activities and acquiring 100 x Coffer Key Shards which turn into 1 x Restored Coffer Key or they can be directly bought from vendors.

To participate in World Quests and similar Open World activities such as Rare Mob spawns and Open World Bosses, you will first need to complete the main campaign from all the zones of Khaz Algar. Upon completing the main campaign, World Quests and Adventure Mode will be available throughout all four areas.

Special Assignments

Once you unlock the World Quests, Special Assignments will become available on the map which will reward a Seasoned Adventurer’s Cache which rewards Restored Coffer Key alongside other appropriate goodies such as currencies and gear. Special Assignments are locked behind a specific time frame and they require you to complete World Quests in the zone. Some Special Assignments can be completed solo but some require a group, you’re able to use group finder to fill your group for the delve.

Vendors

The Restored Coffer Key can also be bought once you reach level 10 Renown with the Assembly of the Deeps. Once you attain level 10 Renown, you can directly buy the Restored Coffer Key from Sir Finley Mrrgglton in Dornogal and Waxmonger Squick in The Ringing Deeps for 2000 Undercoin.

Delve Locations

Similarly to many special time-gated events in Azeroth, the Bountiful Delves function based on a rotation, with each appearing on the map for a limited amount of time. You will be able to spot them on the map through a specific Map Icon, including the remaining time in which they may be explored.

Rewards

Completing a Bountiful Delve without having a Restored Coffer Key will remove the possibility of re-entering the Delve and acquiring the rewards. It is yet unknown whether this is intended behavior or not, so we advise that you make sure you proceed with caution and acquire a key before seeking treasure!

The rewards that you can acquire from the Bountiful Delves vary depending on the Tier of the Delve itself, however, there are a few rewards that are guaranteed. While the quality of the items and the amounts themselves differ from Tier to Tier, you will be guaranteed one of the following rewards:

• Gear with Item Level depending on the tier of the Bountiful Delve
• Radiant Echo
• Randomized bonus currencies
• A new or upgraded version of a Companion Curio

Once you manage to reach the end of the Delve and beat the boss inside it while having Revives remaining, you will be able to use the Restored Coffer Key to open the chests and receive your reward!

It is also worth noting that upon completing the Bountiful Delves quest and finishing your first Bountiful Delve, you will also be awarded the Delver’s Dirigible which is a special mount from The War Within that can be further customized!
