With the coming of The War Within expansion there’s a new Allied Race being added to the roster that’s available for both Horde and Alliance! The Earthen Dwarves have thrown in their lot to help Azeroth and her peoples to weather the coming storm, and you’re going to be able to choose them as a playable race once you’ve met the specified requirements.

The unlock requirements to get the Allied Races: Earthen achievement are as follows:

• Complete the main story campaign in Khaz Algar to unlock The War Within achievement:
  • Against the Current
  • Ties That Bind
  • News from Below
  • The Machines March to War
  • A Light in the Dark
• Complete three sidestory quest chains for the Earthen:
  • Mourning Rise
  • Broken Tools
  • Merrix and Steelvein

When all of these requirements are met, you’ll be able to visit your faction’s emissary in your capital city to unlock the Earthen Allied Race.

Earthen Dwarf Cosmetics

Earthen Dwarf Mount

The Reins of the Slatestone Ramolith is a special mount for the Earthen that you’ll get upon unlocking the allied race.

Heritage Armor

Much like the other heritage armors, you must level an Earthen from 10-50 yourself with no boosts, refer-a-friend levels, or faction/race change services. From there you’ll unlock the Heritage of the Earthen achievement.

New Starting Zone: Dornogol

With this race comes a new starting zone. You’ll start at lv 10, just like other allied races, and begin your journey in the capital city of Dornogol. The intro area will be fairly short, but will have new content for your fresh Earthen to encounter!
