The War Within brings four new factions to the game to earn renown with. These main factions each represent a different zone of the Khaz Algar continent. Earning reputation with these groups will unlock a variety of rewards, from collectibles to useful equipment to new content.
Achievement hunters will want to reach maximum renown with each of these factions to earn the Khaz Algar Diplomat achievement. Here the main factions in this expansion:
Council of Dornogal
Ruling from the Foundation Hall under the leadership of Councilward Merrix, the Council of Dornogal makes decisions affecting all earthen in the Isle of Dorn.
The Council of Dornogal governs the Earthen people. Based in the city of Dornogal and the Isle of Dorn zone, this faction is the first you’ll encounter when you arrive on the continent.

The Assembly of the Deeps
Throughout the Ringing Deeps, neglected machinery awaits repair. While Machine Speakers lend their technological acumen, kobolds scavenge parts left behind. Anyone wanting to explore and rebuild is welcome to help.
The Assembly of the Deeps is an alliance of Earthen Machine Speakers and friendly kobolds who dwell in The Ringing Deeps. This coalition works together to rebuild and maintain the Titan machinery in the zone.

Hallowfall Arathi
The Arathi of the Hallowfall Expedition safeguard the star Beledar from the many threats found under Khaz Algar. Cut off from their overseas empire, they have built a new home with the strength of their faith in the Sacred Flame.
The Hallowfall Arathi are descendants of the Arathi Empire who have made their home in the Hallowfall zone, where they defend the giant crystal that lights the cavern. They are followers of the Sacred Flame, a faith devoted to The Light.

The Severed Threads are a group of Nerubians who seek to overthrow Queen Ansurek. They reside in the Azj-Kahet zone and are led by The Weaver, The General, and The Vizier, each of whom has their own individual reputation to earn.
