Plunderstorm Season 2 Overview

Ahoy there, matey! Plunderstorm is a special game mode in World of Warcraft that launched with Dragonflight Patch 10.2.6. This pirate-themed battle royale game is separate from the main game and can be played without purchasing the current expansion, although to play, you will need to install World of Warcraft and have an active subscription.

Offensive Spells Guide

Plunderstorm is a limited event that lasts for several weeks each time it comes around. It’s a new type of content for Blizzard, and given how well it’s been received, it’s likely that we’ll see more events like this one in the future. There is even a new Mode option on the character login screen as of Patch 11.0.7.

Seasons

There have been two seasons of Plunderstorm so far:

Season 1: March 19, 2024 – May 1, 2024
Season 2: January 14, 2025 – February 18, 2025
