World of Warcraft Franchise Creative Director Chris Metzen sat down for an interview with Scott Johnson, host of the WoW podcast The Instance, and Blizzard has shared the video on their official channels.
Metzen talks about what it’s been like coming back to Blizzard, how things have changed, and what we can expect from the story in The War Within and the rest of the World Soul Saga.
Perhaps most significantly, he responds to a question about the sword – you know, that sword. He says “it’s a 13 issue,” meaning we can expect to deal with it in the third installment of the World Soul trilogy (the 13th chapter of World of Warcraft). There will be plenty of build up for whatever they have in store by then.
