Dragonflight season 1 is live today, and it’s steeped with content! That being said, there were some changes implemented before today’s reset.
Across all the difficulties, there were some significant tuning done to many of the mobs in The Nokhud Offensive (one of the eight dungeons in Dragonflight). These nerfs don’t apply to just Mythic difficulty, so make sure to read them carefully to see which difficulty the changes were applied to. Some nerfs were also made to Granyth and The Raging Tempest, two of the bosses that can be found within the dungeon. These changes are a welcomed sight during the first week of the Mythic+ season.
I’m sure many of us will be spending countless hours this week trying to find the best way to optimize our way through the different dungeons — while still beating the timer!
The tuning for tanks that was announced last week is now live! A more in-depth breakdown of the exact changes to each of the tank specializations, and the abilities affected, can be found within the original post below.
Lastly, there have been changes made to the Jewelcrafting Recipe: Elemental Lariat. This is somewhat unexpected — primarily because the item wasn’t even obtainable last week. Many players have talked this item up due to the passive procs of primary stat that it offers. The effective overall nerf is stated to be around 5%. This could potentially shift where you choose to spend your Spark of Ingenuity, as it is a time-gated currency.
Stay tuned for any more changes to come, but until then, enjoy all that season 1 has to offer!
Hey all! Here are today’s hotfixes.

- Developers’ note: Many players have their sights set on the Elemental Lariat as one of their first Spark of Ingenuity crafts as it becomes available tomorrow. Upon further investigation, this turned out to be slightly stronger than intended and we have adjusted it to better match our expectations. We wanted to ensure these changes were in before players invested their valuable resources into acquiring it so everyone can make an informed decision about whether to create this item.
