We’re getting a juicy lil sneak-peek at the next numbered patch on the horizon for Dragonflight. It’s been talked about previously, but “.7” patches are going to be a new bridge along with the “.5” patches to the following large seasonal patch.
In this patch we’ll make a return to the Drac’thyr starting zone and get some more lore about the dragon-people as well as new events, gear, and cosmetics to collect!
Heritage armor was initially an idea proposed to give every race in the game a traditional cosmetic set to really embody their history on Azeroth (Or other worlds). While the sets for the allied races are beautiful, it’s a real treat to see that Humans and Orcs are going to get heritage armor in this patch and they look truly fantastic.
Finally, the “Monk” class is going to be available to Lightforged Draenei, Worgen, and Goblins. Who doesn’t want to see a kung-fu Goblin tearing up a dungeon?
Read on for the full details of this new mini-patch!
Patch 10.0.7 is in development, and with it comes a variety of new content updates, including a return to the Forbidden Reach, new Heritage Armor for orcs and humans, and more.
RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN REACH
Return to the Forbidden Reach to learn more of the story of the dracthyr Evoker awakening now that the defeat of Raszageth has been secured. This zone includes new content for max-level players delving into the troubles left behind by the meddling of the Primalists and the chaos they’ve left behind among the elements. Players will encounter new bosses and objectives, more storms, new loot to add to their arsenal, and more.
ORC AND HUMAN HERITAGE ARMOR
Both orcs and humans can earn new Heritage Armor to show off their pride. You’ll follow a series of quests, culminating in receiving a new armor set specific to your race.
THE MONK CLASS EXPANDS TO NEW RACES
In the 10.0.7 content update, the Monk class will be available to the goblin, Lightforged draenei, and worgen races.
RECRUIT A FRIEND REFRESH
All new rewards are arriving to the Recruit A Friend (RAF) program, letting you bring in new (and returning) friends to World of Warcraft. Stay tuned to the official site for more details when we get closer to launching the update.
