MEET NEW ALLIES

As the heroes of Azeroth venture into the underground expanse of the Zaralek Cavern, they will be aided by and build Renown with the local inhabitants found within.

DROGBAR
Drogbar

The familiar faces of the drogbar can be found in Glimmerogg. They now have their own culture and embrace some unique interests—lifting heavy things and snail racing. Players can participate in their own race by nudging along a crystal-shelled gastropod named Brulee to gain the Zoom! Achievement and get their own snail pet. Watch out for the slime trail.

NIFFEN
Niffen

These busy molefolk might not see much with their inferior eyesight, but with their distinct nose, their sense of smell is mighty. The entrepreneurial and friendly niffen make their home in Loamm and they’re always willing to barter and trade with outsiders who pay them a visit. Players can unlock their Renown tracks for rewards once they complete the first chapter of the Embers of Neltharion campaign.

DRAGONRIDING

Dragonriding

Drift and dive through complex caverns riddled with stalagmites and stalactites as you and your dragon navigate this vast underground world. Pay attention as your dragon senses six new Glyphs that will help you expand your Dragonriding skills with two new traits.

ABERRUS, THE SHADOWED CRUCIBLE

Aberrus

Millennia ago, Neltharion carved chasms in the earth where he conducted world-altering experiments. After his death, these sites were lost to time until now. Forces seeking to claim the Earth-Warder’s legacy raid his dominion in search of powerful artifacts. Now the champions of Azeroth must venture into the darkness and ensure the crucible’s dangerous power doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.

A new raid comes with Embers of Neltharion. Gather your allies and breach Neltharion’s secret laboratory hidden within Zaralek Cavern. Here, he created the dracthyr and ultimately succumbed to the whispers of the Old Gods and their corruption.

Including Scalecommander Sarkareth, whose forces seek to claim the legacy of the dracthyr; players will face nine new encounters:

  • Kazzara, the Hellforged
  • The Amalgamation Chamber
  • The Forgotten Experiments
  • Assault of the Zaqali
  • Rashok, the Elder
  • The Vigilant Steward
  • Zskarn, Magmora
  • Echo of Neltharion
  • Scalecommander Sarkareth

INHABITANTS

Zaralek Cavern is filled with dangers on the ground and above. Here are some inhabitants you’ll surely see as you traverse this vast world.

We look forward to you continuing your adventure through the Dragon Isles when Embers of Neltharion goes live on May 2. Visit WorldofWarcraft.Blizzard.com/news to keep up to date with the latest news, and plan and manage your Dragonflight adventures with the WoW Companion App.
