This week’s PvP Brawl is Temple of Hotmogu, a resource race that is active April 25-May 2.
PvP Brawls offer a fresh take on the Battleground locations we know and love by switching up the rules or adding different mechanics.
Temple of Hotmogu is a hectic match of hot potato. Players will race to claim the Orbs of Power in each of the template’s four corners, then hold on to them as long as possible to earn points. Successfully hold your team’s orbs or go after the opposing team’s orb carrier! Players can only pick up one orb at a time, and can’t use a mount while they’re carrying one. If slain while holding an orb, it will be returned to its starting place inside the temple. For a twist, a downed player’s resurrection time has been changed to only five seconds!
Queue for the Brawl in the Group Finder’s Player vs. Player tab. Just like Random Battlegrounds, earning a victory in Temple of Hotmogu gets you a powerful reward.
Enter the Temple of Kotmogu for this fast-paced match. For a whole new twist, players will be able throw the Orb of Power to friendly players in a game of hot potato. Beware, they’ll also gain the debuffs along with the orb so choose wisely. We’re turning things up (to 11) by changing resurrection time to a quick 5 seconds. Who will be able to hold on to the power to claim victory?
