The event takes place starting this week (August 15th) through August 28th. There are sixteen races added to the oldworld continent of Kalimdor – but your journey will start in Valdrakken. Speak to Lord Andestrasz on the same platform as the Rostrum of Transformation in Valdrakken to get an intro quest that will net you some of the new currency and start your journey to compete in the Kalimdor Cup!
As of right now the new currency, Riders of Azeroth Badges, can be turned in at Maztha in Valdrakken (Right next to Lord Andestrasz). You’ll be able to buy a full transmog set with it as well as a few new customizations for your dragonriding mounts! If you aren’t interested in those rewards, or have all of them already, and still have badges you can also buy Valdrakken Accord Insignias.

With a total of sixteen races spread across Kalimdor, dragonriders will have a skyfull of options for challenging courses in Normal, Advanced, and Reverse variations. Head to Valdrakken and speak to Lord Andestrasz near the Rostrum of Transformation to pick up the initial quest.

In addition to earning achievements for completing races, Kalimdor’s brave racers can earn a new currency, Riders of Azeroth Badges. These can be exchanged for unique items and rewards from Maztha in Valdrakken so that you can dash through the skies with panache.
