To be blunt the transmog sets are… nice… but not the real story here. This is the first time that Trader’s Tender, a currency introduced with the advent of the Trading Post in retail, has been available for purchase through the cash-shop. The bundle gives you 200 of the Trader’s Tender alongside two small wrist transmogs for $5.
This isn’t exactly a surprise as it was said previously by Blizzard representatives that Trader’s Tender would not be directly offered for money in the store, but Trader’s Tender may appear in bundles in the future. Well, the future is now!
There’s been a lot of changes to the Trading Post since it was first released as a feature. Notably, it’s a lot tougher to grind out the full amount of tender for the month due to the watering down of monthly objectives. They’ve also increased the amount of tender you can attain per month to 1400 instead of 1000 – which also increases the amount you’ll need to grind for the monthly reward. That said they’ve also increased the amount of offerings in the Trading Post each month.
