The next major content update for The War Within is going live two weeks from today on February 25th. Patch 11.1 will take us into the new Undermine zone, where we’ll get to experience the capital city of the goblins with new Renown tracks, Delves, dungeons, a raid, and an arena map, plus a new customizable transportation system: D.R.I.V.E..
You’ll be able to align yourself with one of five Goblin Cartels to earn new rewards through Renown. Rewards include options for your new customizable D.R.I.V.E. mount, a special goblin car that allows you to drift through the streets of Undermine at a much higher speed than a normal ground mount.
There are two new Delves coming in the patch: Excavation Site 9 and Side Street Sluice. There will also be updates for existing Delves as well as Brann Bronzebeard, your NPC companion.
The new raid is Liberation of Undermine, and it houses 8 bosses, culminating in the Chrome King himself, Gallywix. For PvP enjoyers, you’ll be facing off on a new arena map, Cage of Carnage.
There are a couple of UI updates coming with the patch too. You’ll be able to select from four new campsites for your Warband login screen. An Event tab is being added to the quest log to help you keep track of events in Khaz Algar, including in the new Undermine zone.
A couple of other notable dates: Plunderstorm ends on February 25th, the same day the patch goes live. Season 2 of The War Within will begin a week later on March 4th, ushering in a new Mythic+ dungeon rotation, a new PvP season, new Delves, and a new race to world first in the Liberation of Undermine raid.
Travel deep into the goblin city of Undermine and learn to D.R.I.V.E., join a cartel, adventure in two new delves, a new dungeon: Operation Floodgate, face Gallywix in the Liberation of Undermine raid, battle in a new PvP Arena— and more!
Plunderstorm Ends February 25
The Plunderstorm is nearing its end. Players have until the launch of the content update to dive back into the fray before the storm passes once more. Spend your well-earned Plunder in the new Plunderstore for great new rewards, test your mettle with new spells at your fingertips, explore new points of interest on the map, and more! Each match is 10-15 minutes long and has 60 players per match, with the winner being the last one standing. Level up and acquire new abilities and spells by killing creatures and enemies, looting chests, and avoiding the encroaching storm. Learn more in our previously published arrrticle.
