The Arena World Championship is back for Season 2 of The War Within starting next weekend. Top arena teams will compete across three qualification rounds to make it to the Grand Finals in May, where 4 teams will duke it out for a total prize pool of $200,000.
All brackets will be streamed on the official Warcraft YouTube and Twitch channels. You’ll also be able to watch individual competitors on their own streams.
Beginning April 4, the gladiatorial gates will open again for the Arena World Championship in Season 2 of The War Within! Tune into all three Cups to find out who will win!
Crack open a cool Kaja’Cola and kick back; it’s time to catch the latest close-quarter combat from the greatest gladiators in (and under) Azeroth! The pinnacle of PvP content has returned in the newest season of The War Within and has followed our competitors into the depths of the Undermine.
The crowd roars as echoes of combat ring out from the Cage of Carnage—the newest arena surrounded by the gargantuan metal bleachers of the Demolition Dome. Filled with haphazard metal ramps and trap doors, this new stadium is only one of many arenas in which fearsome fighting fanatics will face off throughout the competition.
Season 2 of the Arena World Championship will feature three qualification Cups in which teams compete for points. From there, the top three point-earning teams will advance to the culmination of the competition—the Grand Finals. Then, the next top five point-earning teams will have another chance at making it big, as they’ll face off in the Gauntlet and compete for the final spot in their region’s Grand Finals.
