If you or a friend are thinking about checking out patch 10.1, but haven’t committed to buying the Dragonflight expansion yet, you’re in luck! Blizzard has brought back the expansion trial, which will run through June 4th. As long as you have game time or an active subscription, you can head to the Dragon Isles and get a taste of what they have to offer.
To level past 60 or to continue the Dragon Isles quests beyond The Waking Shore, you will have to purchase the expansion. You’re in luck there as well – all versions of Dragonflight are now 40% off in the Blizzard shop. Several character services are on sale as well.
Load up your favorite character, and prepare for an aerial adventure! You’ll explore the Dragon Isles, master the art of Dragonriding, take your professions to the next level, experience the early campaign quests**, brave all-new dungeons, and more.
From now through June 4, 2023, we’re offering returning World of Warcraft players with active Game Time or Subscription access to all their characters along with access to the Dragonflight expansion during the Dragonflight Expansion Trial*. For players who participated in the previous Dragonflight Trial, your dracthyr Evoker will be available to continue your adventures.
SPREAD THE WORD AND YOUR WINGS!
Dragonflight brings a number of exciting updates to World of Warcraft, including the dracthyr Evoker, the first ever class/race combo in WoW, a brand-new talent system, updates to professions with specializations, a new work orders system, a new form of aerial movement in Dragonriding, and much more. With a bigger-than-ever focus on exploration and player expression, Dragonflight rewards you for playing your way.
Bring your level 60 characters to the Dragon Isles, or play as the new dracthyr Evoker with complete access to the beginning of the new campaign in the Dragon Isles.
While you’re playing the trial, you won’t be able to progress your character beyond level 60***, but don’t worry—any experience you earn through the trial period will be banked and applied to your character if you decide to purchase Dragonflight later. Get started on your adventure today!
