The War Within Hotfixes for October 2 - Xal'atath's Bargain: Voidbound Changes

In a short list of hotfixes that mostly consists of bug fixes, Blizzard has reverted a change to this week’s Mythic+ affix that was only hours old.

Xal’atath’s Bargain: Voidbound summons a Void Emissary that makes nearby enemies increasingly resistant to damage. Earlier today, Blizzard buffed the Void Emissary, likely to force players to focus it down rather than simply killing it with cleave damage. They have now reverted that change, but kept its counterpart, which increased the Blessing from Beyond buff to reduce spell and ability cooldowns by 50% versus its previous 20%.

  - Fixed a Diabolist issue where Ruination would consume Crashing Chaos.

Delves

Earthcrawl Mines
- Increased Web General Ab’enar’s fire area of effect visual on Burning Cart to match its damaging area of effect.

Dungeons and Raids

Mythic+ Affixes
- Xal’atath’s Bargain: Voidbound no longer increases Void Emissary health.
  - Developers’ notes: This was a reversal of a change we recently made. Blessing from Beyond still grants players 50% increased cooldown reduction.

Items

Fixed an issue where purchasing Shackled Shadow would remove Vermillion Imperial Lynx from Auralia Steelstrike’s offerings.

Player versus Player

Fixed an issue where quest credit was not being properly granted for “Preserving Solo”.

Professions

Jewelcrafting
- Fixed an issue that prevented Magnificent Jeweler’s Setting and Nerubian Gemweaver from functioning on Timewalking Raid items. This fix is not retroactive.
