- Expansion: World of Warcraft
With this week’s weekly reset, M+ dungeons from Legion and Warlords of Draenor expansions are receiving a number of changes. Many bosses are receiving nerfs, with the most notable being Moroes’ Garrote ability not being permanent anymore, and Shade of Medivh’s Flame Wreath ability’s damage being reduced by 30%. Additionally, some of the trash mobs are also receiving nerfs, such as Lava Wreath being removed from Grimrail Depot as well as Throw Coin from Return to Karazhan: Lower.
On top of these changes to dungeons, both Destruction Warlocks and Survival Hunters are receiving nerfs:
- Survival Hunters’ (4) Set Bonus has been nerfed and several of their single target abilities have received buffs, which should reduce their output in multi-target situations without affecting their output in single-target situations.
- Destructions Warlocks’ Rain of Fire and Infernal’s Immolation Aura damage have both been reduced by 20%, as even with the previous nerfs, Destruction Warlocks were still out-damaging other specs by a large margin in multi-target situations.

- Developers’ note: The Survival Hunter Mad Bombardier 4-piece set bonus is still causing Survival Hunters to over perform in multi-target situations. We’re lowering the effectiveness of the 4-piece bonus while also increasing the damage of your single target abilities to offset this loss of damage against a single target.
